Storm Poem

We are leaning to write poems about the storm. We were describing animals as the storm. We learnt to write metaphors, similes and personification is when you give an object a human action.                                                                                                                                                                                              The Storm

The storm is like a fast cheetah
It leaps high and powerful jump
It runs fast and it stretches its legs across the city
Black brown and yellow coat
It purrs quietly and roars loudly
Running and leaping across the city
The storm rips off all the grass
Rough and hurtful
Bright and spotty
